The plaintiff, Nanolumens, stated in the indictment that his intellectual property manager had sent three defendants an email on the infringement of related patents on January 25 this year. The F-series "Flexible Pad" products and the X-series "WaveScreen" products produced by Vision Optoelectronics use the related patents on the consistent arrangement of pixels in flexible LED displays to produce seamless display images. This allows the defendant to produce a flexible display screen. Nanolumens requested the court to rule that the defendant infringed on the 895 patent, 707 patent, and 516 patent claims, and the infringement was intentional infringement, requesting 3 times compensation, and requesting compensation for litigation and lawyer fees.
