1 Introduction With the rapid development of the material-to-material (M2M) communication service, the traditional sensor network carrying M2M services faces more and more limitations and challenges. It is urgent to combine the sensor network and the mobile communication network to make the mobile communication coverage wide and reliable. The transmission delay is small, and a hierarchical mobile M2M network is formed. This paper discusses the mobile communication optimization technology for M2M services. Firstly, through the research on the characteristics of sensor networks, a M2M service traffic modeling method is presented. On this basis, the optimization direction is proposed and some optimization technical solutions are proposed. In addition, this paper also briefly introduces the research work of 3GPP in M2M optimization technology. The combination of wireless sensor network (WSN) and mobile communication is not only the development of wireless sensor network industry, but also the development of mobile communication industry. As shown in Figure 1, this combination can solve many development bottlenecks of two industries and greatly expand. The business application areas of the two industries bring many new opportunities. Figure 1 Combination of wireless sensor network and mobile communication 2 Mobile M2M communication system architecture As shown in FIG. 2, the WSN network based on the mobile communication system can flexibly support WSN networks of various sizes. After a certain size of the WSN network is formed by the WSN node through limited hierarchical aggregation, the WSN gateway with the mobile terminal function is transmitted back to the mobile communication system. It is also possible for the mobile base station to directly connect sensors with mobile terminal capabilities, in which case these sensors are both WSN nodes and WSN gateways. This kind of structure does not require an ad hoc network between WSN nodes, which can minimize the transmission delay and support monitoring applications with high real-time requirements. Mobile terminals (such as mobile phones, laptops), if they have sensor functions, can also be used as WSN nodes and WSN gateways to construct a domain WSN network. Figure 2 WSN network combined with mobile communication network 3 Mobile M2M system optimization direction The existing 3G, LTE mobile communication system is to solve the human-to-human (H2H) communication from its most fundamental design requirements. Although it is constantly improving and evolving with the development of technology, it has no characteristics for M2M communication.
